Sign in, set up, find your first bounty.

Friendly takes about two minutes to get into. Everything below works the same on Web, Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux.

1. Sign in

Open the app at friendly.mobi/app (or install one of the native builds from /download). You'll see Welcome with two paths:

  • Phone OTP — pick your country code, enter your number, get a one-time code by SMS.
  • Email OTP — tap Continue with Email OTP, enter your email, get a one-time code in your inbox.

No passwords. Sign-in is end-to-end encrypted at the transport layer and the OTP is single-use.

2. Set up your profile

On first sign-in you'll be asked for a display name and the skills you work with. The skills you list drive the matches on the Find work bounty board, so list the ones you'd accept work in (not your wishlist).

Your profile is portable — verified ratings travel with you across engagements. We never sell it to advertisers and never train AI on its contents. See /security for the specifics.

3. Apply to your first bounty

Tap Find work. Browse the board (you'll see part-time, one-time, and matched bounties), open one that fits, and tap Apply in 2 taps. Your application is sent to the client privately — your phone number stays inside Friendly until they award the bounty.

Your first 5 bounties on Free are 0% platform fee. After that it's 8% on Free or 3% on Pro. See /pricing for the details.
