Schedule, meet, follow up — in one place.

Meetings on Friendly live inside the same channel or DM as the rest of the work. We're honest about what's shipped and what's in build — below covers both.

Scheduling a meeting

From any channel or DM, tap the calendar icon to schedule a meeting. Set the title, start / end time (with timezone), invite other channel members, and pick the platform — currently Zoom, Google Meet, or in-person.

Once saved, the meeting becomes a thread in the channel: invitees RSVP (Yes / Maybe / No), the host can update or cancel, and the latest activity appears at the top of the thread.

Calendar sync

RSVP'd meetings sync to your device calendar — iOS, Android, macOS, Windows — so reminders fire where you actually look. Two-way sync with Google Calendar and Outlook is in progress (see the roadmap): today the flow is Friendly → device calendar; soon it'll be bidirectional.

Voice & video — what's in build

First-party voice / video calls are in progress — the scheduling, RSVP, and calendar pieces are live, the audio/video stack is the final piece (planned for next quarter; see /roadmap).

Until that ships, use the meeting's linked platform — Zoom or Google Meet — and the meeting thread is where the recording / notes / files end up afterward.

After the meeting

The meeting thread stays as a record. Files dropped during the call, action items, follow-up questions — all live where the work happens, not in a separate notes app. End-to-end encrypted if the channel was a DM.
